SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Google is donating about $7 billion to let San Francisco to persist in providing gratis motorbus and former transportation system services to low-income city kids.
City officials announced the donation on Thursday and aforementioned it will encompass an additional two years of the costless pass through computer programme. The programme is presently funded by a regional transportation system means through June 2014.
The contribution comes as Google and former applied science companies confront criticism all over buck private buses they usage to woof up employees in San Francisco. Engineering science workers are as well accused of impulsive up rents and dewadepo gentrifying the city.
